HTML to PDF

Snapshot any web page — or your own HTML file — as a clean PDF.

The page is loaded once on our server to render your PDF. Sign-in-protected pages cannot be captured.

How to use HTML to PDF

HTML to PDF saves a web page, or your own HTML file, as a PDF exactly as a browser would print it.

  1. Paste a web address, or upload an .html file.
  2. Choose portrait or landscape.
  3. Convert and download.

Good to know

  • The address must be public and start with http:// or https://. For pages behind a login, save the page in your browser and upload the .html file.
  • Good for archiving a page as it looked today, or turning an HTML invoice or report into a PDF.
  • Wide dashboards and tables usually look better in landscape.

Questions about HTML to PDF

Is HTML to PDF free?
Yes. It is free with no account needed: files up to 25 MB, 40 tasks a day. Premium raises that to files up to 200 MB, 1,000 tasks a day.
Which files can I use?
HTML files (.html, .htm), or the address of a public web page. One file at a time.
What happens to my files?
They are uploaded over an encrypted connection, processed on Papermint's own servers and deleted automatically: after 2 hours if you are not signed in, or 24 hours if you are. "Delete now" on the result removes them straight away. Your documents are not read, shared or sent to other services.
Do I need to install anything?
No. HTML to PDF runs in your browser on phones, tablets and computers, so there is nothing to download.
Do I need an account?
No. A free account keeps your results for 24 hours instead of 2 hours, so you can download them again from any device.
