Pricing questions
Do I need an account or a card to use Papermint?
No. Most tools work without an account, and the Free plan never asks for a card. A free account adds file history (24 hours instead of 2), AI tools, saved signatures and signature requests.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Open Account → Manage billing and cancel. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, then move to Free, and you are not charged again.
Can I change plan or switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes, in Account → Manage billing. The payment provider works out the difference for the time left in your current period.
What happens to my files and data if I move back to Free?
Your account, saved signatures, API keys and signature requests stay. Premium tools lock and Free limits apply from then on, such as 25 MB files and 20 AI requests a month. Signatures you have already saved are kept; you can add new ones once you are under the Free limit.
Which currency will I pay in?
In your local currency, picked from your device's location. You can change it with the Currency menu above. Once you subscribe, your account stays in that currency.
How do I pay, and is it safe?
Payments go through Stripe's secure checkout: cards, plus wallets such as Apple Pay or Google Pay where Stripe offers them. Papermint never sees or stores your card details.
Does the price include tax?
The price shown is the price you pay. We do not add tax at checkout.
How long do you keep my files?
Processed files are deleted automatically: 2 hours after a task when you are signed out, 24 hours when you are signed in. You can delete them sooner from My files.
Is there a student or teacher discount?
Yes: 10% off any paid plan. Email support@getpapermint.com from your school address for a code, then enter it at checkout.
Plan limits are enforced by our servers and upgrades apply as soon as payment goes through. Cancel any time; you keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for.
